Trump told Putin he got India, Pak to stop war: Russian official
New Delhi, June 6 -- US President Donald Trump reportedly told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin the recent India-Pakistan clashes were halted with his "personal involvement", according to an aide to the Russian leader.
Trump and Putin spoke on phone late on Wednesday, and much of the 70-minute conversation focused on efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Yury Ushakov, the aide to the Russian president, told reporters.
Besides the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the US-Iran talks on the Iranian nuclear programme, Trump and Putin also discussed the India-Pakistan clashes last month, Ushakov was quoted as saying in a readout from the Kremlin.
