Trump praises India, Pak, says will increase trade with both
New Delhi, May 12 -- US President Donald Trump on Sunday praised the "strong and unwaveringly powerful" leadership of India and Pakistan for reaching a "ceasefire" and offered to work with them for a "solution" on the Kashmir issue. The Trump-led US administration also moved quickly to claim credit for brokering the ceasefire agreement.
"I will work with you both to see if, after a "thousand years," a solution can be arrived at concerning Kashmir," Trump said in a post on Truth Social. He went on to say that even though this has not been discussed, he is going to "increase trade substantially with both of these great Nations."
