India, Sept. 23 -- US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived at the United Nations headquarters in New York ahead of his highly anticipated speech. As the two entered, they briefly posed for the cameras and then moved forward when, in an unexpected moment, the escalator at the UN suddenly came to a halt as the couple stepped onto it.

Ahead of Trump's speech at the UN, he arrived at the headquarters hand in hand with his wife, Melania, who wore a crisp white pantsuit. The couple briefly posed for cameras as reporters shouted questions, to which the president simply smiled and mouthed a "Thank you."
