Washington, Sept. 20 -- US President Donald Trump said he and Chinese President Xi Jinping made progress on a TikTok agreement and pledged to meet face-to-face in just over a month in South Korea.
"[W]e will be speaking again by phone, appreciate the TikTok approval, and both look forward to meeting at APEC!" Trump wrote, after the two leaders' first phone call in three months.
China's news agency Xinhua said Xi stressed the importance of the bilateral ties and urged the US side to avoid against any unilateral trade restrictions from the US.P15
