Trucks stranded as vigil bolstered
Dehradun/Gorakhpur/Bahraich/Patna/Bettiah, Sept. 10 -- Entry of trucks and other heavy vehicles to and from Nepal was restricted as border forces stepped up security along India's border with Nepal, amid continuing violence in the neighbouring Himalayan country, where Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli resigned on Tuesday.
Security forces heightened their presence for the second consecutive day and staged a flag march in border villages to instil a sense of safety among residents. People entering and exiting from Nepal and India are being frisked by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal.
