India, Sept. 30 -- An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 hit Myanmar on Tuesday morning, tremors of which were felt in several parts across India, including Manipur, Nagaland, and Assam.
The earthquake hit Myanmar very close to India's border, just 27 km southeast of Ukhrul in Manipur, according to the National Center for Seismology.
