Washington DC, Aug. 1 -- The Trump White House's top official on South Asia, Ricky Gill, is expected to visit India for a summit focused on the India Middle East Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) next week, according to persons aware of the matter. Gill's visit is expected even as bilateral tensions between New Delhi and Washington have risen in the last week over tariffs and India's energy purchases from Russia.
