Mumbai, July 19 -- Nearly a year after Axis Bank sealed its acquisition of Citibank's credit card business, the private sector lender is witnessing exits of some senior figures who joined as part of that merger. Arjun Chowdhry, group executive in charge of affluent banking, cards, payments and retail lending at Axis Bank, has resigned citing his wish to pursue an entrepreneurial path, according to a stock exchange notification on Friday. Alongside, Arvind Singla, president for retail banking operations at the bank, has also stepped down, according to two persons aware of the matter.
