India, July 28 -- Motorists driving on the Karnataka stretch of the much-anticipated Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway, from Hedigenabele (near Hoskote) to Sundarapalya (near KGF), will soon need to pay toll charges, with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) finalising the rates, reported The Times of India. The 71-km stretch, unofficially open to traffic for over seven months, will begin toll collection once the system is fully integrated and district-level coordination is complete.
According to the report, a one-way trip on cars and jeeps from Hedigenabele to Sundarapalya will cost Rs.185, while the return journey will be Rs.275. In the reverse direction, the single trip is marginally higher at Rs.190. A monthly pass for 50 trips...
