New Delhi, Aug. 30 -- Japan is keen to leverage Indian talent and its technological edge to position India as a manufacturing hub for exports to other countries, particularly in Africa, officials said, as Tokyo on Friday committed investments of 10 trillion yen in its partner country over the next 10 years. In their joint statement on Friday, the Prime Ministers of India and Japan reaffirmed the importance of collaborative projects between India and Japan in the Indo-Pacific region including Africa.
