NEW DELHI, March 2 -- Tamil Nadu House, the guest house of the Tamil Nadu government in the national capital, located in Chanakyapuri, south Delhi, received a hoax bomb threat on Saturday morning. The threat was declared a hoax after searches by police and the fire department.
According to a fire official, they got a call regarding the threat at 10.30am and rushed a fire tender to the spot.
An official from Tamil Nadu House said that police, fire personnel and bomb squad arrived at 11am and began a search.
"The area was checked by the bomb disposal squad and fire officials till 12.15pm and after nothing was found in the area, the call was declared hoax," a fire official said.
