Chennai, Aug. 9 -- Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin on Friday unveiled the state's education policy, reiterating the state's commitment to the two-language formula and rejecting the three-language policy prescribed under the Centre's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Stalin said the state education policy (SEP) has been tailored to the state's "unique character" and will help make the students well-equipped and future-ready. He further said the state remains firm with its bilingual policy of Tamil and English. "Mother tongue Tamil is our identity, our pride.
