Berhampore/Kolkata, July 25 -- A Trinamool Congress (TMC) worker and the nephew of a TMC leader were killed in separate incidents in Murshidabad and South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal over the last 24 hours, police said on Thursday. The first incident took place on Wednesday night in Bharatpur area of Murshidabad when TMC worker Shashti Ghosh (55) was allegedly hacked to death by unidentified assailants. "Two people have been detained for questioning," said Murshidabad assistant superintendent of police Raspreet Singh.
