Indore, April 19 -- Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday targeted the ruling TMC over the recent violence in West Bengal, saying that it has no justification to remain in power as it "failed to maintain peace".

"A state government which can't ensure peace in the state does not have the right to stay in power," said the Union minister of communications and development of northeastern region.

Scindia also chaired a meeting with Manipur governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla in Imphal during which officials gave a detailed presentation about the status of various projects being implemented in the state.
