India, Dec. 31 -- An explosion ripped through a slow-moving Hyundai i20 at a traffic signal near the Red Fort metro station on the evening of November 10, killing 12 people (including the bomber) and injuring over 20, in what emerged as a terrorist attack in the heart of Delhi. The blast, timed during rush hour in the crowded area, triggered panic as flames engulfed nearby vehicles. CCTV footage showed the car parked near Sunehri Masjid for three hours before exploding at 6.52pm. Investigations linked the incident to a Jaish-e-Mohammed terror module. DNA analysis confirmed the bomber as Umar un-Nabi, a Pulwama-based doctor working in Faridabad's Al Falah University, which emerged as the heart of a terror module with its roots in Kashmir.
