Dublin (USA), June 1 -- Canada's Nick Taylor shot a bogey-free 4-under par 68 on a rainy Friday to be tied for the halfway lead with Ben Griffin, winner of last week's Charles Schwab Challenge, at the Memorial Tournament. Overnight leader Griffin, chasing back-to-back wins after the first individual PGA Tour title, carded only an even-par 72 in tough conditions as the pair was 7-under par for the tournament. Akshay Bhatia, the US player of Indian origin with two PGA Tour wins, showed impressive control in the bleak weather to be third, two shots behind the leaders.
