India, Dec. 11 -- The Tata Sierra SUV has entered the India Book of Records after achieving a certified fuel-efficiency figure of 29.9 kmpl during a 12-hour test run at the NATRAX proving ground in Indore. The trial, conducted on November 30, 2025, was carried out by the Pixel Motion team and monitored for compliance, with only short pauses allowed for driver changes.

According to documentation validated the same day, the team drove the Sierra continuously from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, surpassing the previous national benchmark for efficiency within a fixed time window.
