India, March 27 -- The Maharashtra State Examination Council on Wednesday issued a circular stating that the Teachers Aptitude and Intelligence Test (TAIT) exam will be held in May and June. Candidates selected based on the marks obtained in the exam will qualify for recruitment in Maharashtra through Pavitra portal.
The TAIT exam scores are the basis for teacher recruitment and candidates who have cleared Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) are eligible for recruitment as teachers for Grades 1 to 5 and Grades 6 to 8, respectively. However, for Grades 9 to 12, clearing TET is not mandatory.
