India, March 14 -- Seven people, including two women and a minor, were killed and three others injured on Friday after an SUV collided with two e-rickshaws in Chapra, West Bengal's Nadia district, police said.

The SUV, carrying four people including the driver, was travelling from Kalyani to Karimpur.

According to preliminary investigations, the driver allegedly lost control of the SUV and crashed into the two e-rickshaws coming from the opposite direction, before toppling onto its side. The car then fell into a roadside ditch.
