India, Nov. 28 -- A key suspect in the murder of an RSS leader's son was killed during a gunfight on Thursday when his accomplices tried to free him from police custody in Ferozepur, Punjab, officials said. Badal was held on Wednesday in connection with the murder of Naveen Arora, the son of RSS leader Baldev Raj Arora. Police were taking Badal to a cremation ground where his accomplices were reportedly hiding. On seeing the police, they began firing. The police retaliated in self-defence, said police. Badal sustained bullet injuries and died in hospital.P15
