India, Feb. 21 -- The Supreme Court has revived the Union government's appeal against the Bombay high court's September 2024 judgment striking down the Centre's attempt to set up a Fact-Checking Unit (FCU) under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, after the government informed the court that it had decided to pursue its judicial remedy.
