Mumbai, March 26 -- Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday accused NCP(SP) leaders, including party lawmaker Supriya Sule, of being involved in a conspiracy to frame minister Jaykumar Gore in a sexual harassment case.
The allegations from Fadnavis comes days after a woman who had accused Gore of harassing her was arrested on March 21 for allegedly trying to extort Rs.3 crore from the minister to dispose of the case.
The CM, in the state assembly, alleged that Sule, NCP(SP) leaders Rohit Pawar and Prabhakar Deshmukh were in contact with the woman and two of her alleged accomplices -- Anil Subedar and Tushar Kharat.
