India, Oct. 20 -- India's stock market opened higher today, led be Reliance Industries Ltd. amid a mixed reaction to HDFC Bank Ltd. and ICICI Bank Ltd. after their quarterly results.

At 10:23 am, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading 0.50% higher at 84,369.74 points even as the broader NSE Nifty 50 gained 0.55% to 25,851.25 points. All 16 sectors were in the green. The broader small-caps and mid-caps rose about 0.2% and 0.7%, respectively.

Reliance's share price rose as much as 2.7% after its quarterly profit missed estimates as analysts saw positives from its core business and improving earnings outlook.

HDFC Bank's share price rose as much as 1.75% while ICICI Bank's share price fell 2.57% intraday after their quarterly results. India'...
