New Delhi, March 20 -- During the hearing on forest matters, the Supreme Court also criticised Uttarakhand for slow action against top officials involved in illegal tree-felling at Corbett Tiger Reserve for the Pakhrau tiger safari project.
Advocate Abhishek Atrey presented a report showing action completed against 16 junior officers, but investigation against five senior officials from the IAS and IFS remained pending, awaiting results from a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe.
