Chennai, Feb. 17 -- Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin on Sunday slammed Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan over his alleged remarks that the southern state will not be provided funds until it accepted the National Education Policy (NEP) and the three -language formula, calling it a "brash blackmail".

In a post on X, Stalin tagged a video clip of Pradhan, who is heard saying Tamil Nadu has to come to the terms of the Indian Constitution and that the three-language policy is the rule of law. "Which section of the Constitution enforces the three-language policy? Can the Union education minister specify a section?" Stalin asked.
