India, May 22 -- To honour the courage and valour of the Indian Armed Forces, Lalit Kala Akademi, the National Institute of Arts, organised a day-long art and sculpting workshop and exhibition- Shaurya Kala Shivir in Lucknow.

"It's our way to express our gratitude to our forces," affirmed Dr Devendra Tripathi, regional secretary of the institute.

He further elaborated, stating, "The aim of the camp was to pay tribute to all our soldiers who put their lives at stake for us. Consequently, trained and budding painters along with the sculptors offered tribute in their own unique way, making a small yet profound contribution in service to our country through their creative work."
