India, Jan. 7 -- A 37-year-old Spanish streamer died during a private New Year's Eve livestream after allegedly consuming alcohol and drugs on camera in exchange for money. The streamer, identified as Sergio Jimenez, was participating in a paid challenge that involved drinking whisky and taking cocaine while viewers watched remotely, People magazine reported.

Jimenez had pledged to consume up to 6 grams of cocaine and an entire bottle of whisky as part of the stunt, as per a report by People. He was broadcasting the event privately when he collapsed, with reports stating he died before an ambulance could be called.
