Lucknow, Aug. 26 -- "The day is not far away when people will speak of Isro over Nasa...," said Indian Air Force Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who recently became the first Indian to visit the International Space Station (ISS) as part of an Axiom-4 mission, as he received a hero's welcome in his hometown of Lucknow on Monday.
Family members, including his parents Shambhu and Asha Shukla, wife Kamna, and son Kiash, were present at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport to greet him. They were joined by cheering crowds waving the Tricolour and chanting "Vande Mataram".
