Smog chokes: Hospitals in city see spike in respiratory cases
New Delhi, Oct. 24 -- Doctors in Delhi are reporting an uptick in patients experiencing breathing difficulties and persistent coughs in the days following Diwali, as air quality has deteriorated across the national capital. While those with pre-existing respiratory conditions are the most affected, individuals without any prior health issues are also reporting symptoms. Both government and private hospitals have confirmed a rise in outpatient visits in recent days.
