India, Nov. 12 -- The Pune International Airport has recorded a sharp rise in domestic cargo movement this financial year, with inbound shipments seeing a major boost, particularly due to a surge in smart mobile phones arriving from Delhi. The new trend highlights the growing demand among Punekars for online purchases and tech products.

According to officials, smart mobile phones in inbound shipments from Delhi account for nearly 30 per cent of the total cargo handled every month in 2025.
