Jaipur/Bharatpur/Kota, Aug. 25 -- Continuous heavy rainfall over the past three days have plunged several Rajasthan districts into crisis, with flood-like conditions reported in Kota, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur and parts of Eastern Rajasthan. At least six people have died in rain-related incidents in state, officials said. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has sounded a red alert for Kota district and predicted heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in southern and southwestern Rajasthan on August 25-26. Western parts, including Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions, may also see moderate to heavy showers over the next four-five days, it said. HTC
