Lucknow, Feb. 13 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued notices to approximately 10.9 million notices in Uttar Pradesh under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls till Thursday.

In all, notices will be issued to 32.6 million voters, including 10.04 million voters unmapped with the 2003 voter list and 22.2 million voters for logical discrepancies in the draft voter list published on January 6, 2026.

Giving this information, Uttar Pradesh chief electoral officer Navdeep Rinwa on Thursday said the process of hearing on notices is underway at centres by the notified authorities.
