Srinagar, April 24 -- Kashmir observed a shutdown on Wednesday, with business establishments and schools remaining closed, to protest against the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, following which 26 people were killed and another 17 were injured.
The shutdown in Kashmir was observed after at least four years. Earlier, before the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, calls for bandhs by separatists against the state in the restive valley were common, according to local residents.
