India, Jan. 22 -- The Shubman Gill vs Ravindra Jadeja duel was expected to headline the Ranji Trophy 6th round match between Punjab and Saurashtra, but neither India's Test captain nor one of the country's top all-rounders could create an impact on Day 1. Jadeja was out for 7 off six balls, while Gill departed for a second-ball duck as 15 wickets already tumbled on the opening day.
