New Delhi, Jan. 27 -- The Directorate of Education (DoE) has announced the revised Scheme of Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA) for the academic year 2025-26, an official statement by the directorate read.
According to the scheme, students can get admission to classes 9 and 11 through the National Entrance Test for SHRESHTA (NETS), conducted by the National Testing Agency.
Students under the scheme will be get the tuition, hostel, and other essential fees covered, with annual scholarships ranging from Rs.1 lakh to Rs.1.4 lakh, depending on class. The scheme aims to provide quality residential education to meritorious SC students. htc
