India, Aug. 8 -- Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Friday reshared a press conference video of Rahul Gandhi, in which the Leader of Opposition alleged "poll rigging" and accused the Election Commission of India (EC) of "colluding" with the BJP to commit a "huge criminal fraud," citing an analysis by his party.

Tharoor described these as "serious questions" that must be properly addressed in the interest of all voters. He called upon the Election Commission to act promptly.

In his post on X, the Thiruvananthapuram MP emphasised that India's democracy is too valuable to allow its credibility to be undermined.
