India, May 22 -- Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was named the 2024-25 NBA MVP on Wednesday. He beat fellow finalists Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo to win the award. The 26-year-old had finished runner-up in 2024, behind Jokic, and was fifth in 2023.
