Jammu, April 7 -- Union home minister Amit Shah arrived in Jammu on Sunday, commencing his three-day visit to Jammu & Kashmir to review the Union territory's security scenario and development works.

Shah's visit to J&K is his first following the formation of the Omar Abdullah-led National Conference government on October 16 last year. On Monday, Shah will visit the BSF outpost Vinay in Kathua district at 10.30am to assess the ground situation there, officials said. Shah will also take stock of various development projects in the Union territory at a meeting scheduled to be held at the Raj Bhavan in Srinagar at 11am. P7
