Mumbai, March 6 -- Union minister offers fewer LS seats to two partners but assures them to compensate in assembly elections
Union home minister Amit Shah on Tuesday held a meeting with chief minister Eknath Shinde, deputy chief ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, and key leaders from the three ruling parties to iron out the differences over a seat-sharing arrangement ahead of Lok Sabha elections.
HT has learnt that Shinde's Shiv Sena has expressed its desire to retain at least the 13 constituencies currently held by its MPs. However, the BJP is ready to offer only 10 seats.
