India, July 7 -- Union minister for home and cooperation Amit Shah launched the Sardar Patel Cooperative Dairy Federation - on the lines of Amul, in Gujarat's Anand on Sunday. The event, organised by the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Limited or Amul, as it is known for the brand it markets, also marked the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Shah also announced setting up of 200,000 new cooperative societies across India. P10
