Ghaziabad, Sept. 16 -- Police have deployed personnel and detained 13 individuals after caste clashes in Manauta village under Masuri police station on September 13, officials said. Two FIRs were filed.
The first named nine and invoked BNS sections for rioting, hurt, wrongful confinement, intimidation, and assaulting a woman with intent to disrobe, along with the SC/ST Act.
The complainant alleged assault by Monu Rajput and others; her medical report indicated injuries from kicks and punches. On September 15, police lodged a second FIR over stone-pelting.
