New Delhi, April 10 -- The Delhi high court on Wednesday denied bail to separatist leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan in a 2017 terror funding case, asserting that his release had the likelihood of threatening India's unity and security, since he had raised funds for terrorist organisations to not only propagate secessionist activities but also create unrest in the Kashmir valley.

A bench of justices Navin Chawla and Shailender Kaur said that the evidence collected by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) "prima facie" connected all the accused with each other to seek secession of the Jammu and Kashmir from the Union of India.
