Mumbai, Feb. 17 -- The Shiv Sena (UBT) on Sunday held a meeting with key leaders to chalk out a roadmap to retain its party base in Konkan area of Maharashtra after multiple leaders from the region left the party, functionaries aware of the matter said.

In a meeting chaired by party chief Uddhav Thackeray at Matoshree, former MP and senior leader Vinayak Raut was shouldered with the responsibility of finding new faces for Shiv Sena (UBT), a party leader from the region said on condition of anonymity. "It is the legacy of Balasaheb Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray that the people in Konkan stand by us. We have found new faced after recent defection from the party," Raut said after the meeting.
