Lucknow, March 27 -- : The second phase of the e-lottery for the allocation of liquor shops across Uttar Pradesh will take place today, March 27, in 61 districts. Successful licensees will also have the option to renew their licences for the year 2026-27.

Under the Excise Policy for the year 2025-26, applications for the second phase of the e-lottery, covering 617 country liquor shops, composite shops, model shops, and retail cannabis shops, were accepted via the online portal from March 17 to March 24, till 5 pm.
