Mumbai, April 20 -- Two months after registering his personal best in the event, Servin Sebastian continued his fine form by winning the men's 20km race walk at the 12th Indian Open Race Walking Competition in Chandigarh on Saturday.
Tamil Nadu's Sebastian clocked 1:21:46 on his way to taking the gold. The timing was well within the qualification mark of 1:24:50 set by the Athletics Federation of India for the Asian Athletics Championship later this year. The automatic qualification mark in the event for the World Athletics Championships in Japan in September is 1:19:20.
Armymen Amit and Amanjot Singh finished second and third with a timing of 1:21:51 and 1:22:12, respectively. It was however a disappointing outing for India's Paris Olymp...
