India, May 30 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday pulled up the Haryana government for being in "deep slumber" while allowing construction of an illegal road cutting through forest land in Nuh district that acted as a key escape route for mining mafia transporting minerals illegally extracted from the Aravallis in Rajasthan. A bench led by Chief Justice of India Bhushan R Gavai ordered the chief secretary to take action against errant officers and file a report by July 16.htc
