New Delhi, July 16 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday sought the response of the Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand governments on a plea challenging the UP directive mandating the display of QR codes on all eateries along the Kanwar yatra route, which reveal the names and identities of the owners. A bench of justices MM Sundresh and N Kotiswar Singh, while hearing separate applications filed by TMC MP Mahua Moitra and professor Apoorvanand Jha challenging the June 25 order issued by the UP administration, sought the governments' response before the next hearing on Tuesday.htc
