New Delhi, April 25 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday sought the Centre's response on a suggestion to have unopposed candidates in an election secure a minimum threshold of votes to be elected to Parliament and state assemblies, observing that nobody should be allowed to enter the legislature by default when a win by majority forms the foundation of our democracy.
