SC moots RULES to halt period checks in offices, schools

New Delhi, Nov. 29 -- The Supreme Court on Friday set out to examine nationwide guidelines to ensure women and girls are not subject to so-called period checks during menstruation. The order came on a plea by the Supreme Court Bar Association filed after an incident at a Haryana university where workers were told to provide proof of menstruation.P10
