New Delhi, April 18 -- In a big reprieve to some of the teachers sacked by the Supreme Court by its order on April 3, a bench of Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna and justice Sanjay Kumar on Thursday allowed the untainted assistant teachers to continue in service until fresh hiring is made even as it imposed strict conditions on the state to carry out fresh recruitment by December 31.PXX
